Throughout the task, I like how each drawing links to one another as you have explored and taken inspiration from different things that you have captured in London. You have experimented with a range of different medias and textures and it is clear how these drawings could be used to create different patterns and be transferred to textiles through various techniques. I like how image 2 has a 3D effect as the vibrant colours really stand out. In my opinion using the embellisher machine to create a sample of this drawing would be really effective. Additionally, I really like how you have added a background to image 3 as the lines could be translated to stitches and this is really effective as often the background of a drawing is just as important. In image 6 I like how you have used light watercolours to present a pastel colour pallet and it’s interesting to see how these colours blend together. Image 7 presents a great range of texture as you have used different materials to create a very interesting drawing and it caught my attention with the different 3D elements. It is clear throughout the task that you have a good understanding of how different medias can work well together and I really like how much detail there is in each image.
If I were to make any suggestions, I think it would be interesting to add more backgrounds to your drawings as you have done so in image 3 or maybe you could experiment further with using different paper like you have in image 11 as I think that by doing so this could add even more texture to your work.
